Bruxelles will host the 9^th of July 2009 a specific international round table on leaving care in Europe; the event organised by Amici dei Bambini is part of the project carried out in five European countries (Romania, Bulgaria, Latvia, Italy and France) whose aim is to increase the knowledge and mutual exchange of positive solutions for the social inclusion of young care leavers in Europe, a social category at high risk of social exclusion.

Prague will host on 23rd and 24th of June the EUROCHILD Members' Exchange Seminar (MES) on "Poverty, Social Exclusion and Children without Parental Care: Making the Links".

MES are held annually to facilitate debate and exchange knowledge and experience on specific aspects of child poverty and social exclusion. They feed into Eurochild's Thematic Working Groups, set up to strengthen Eurochild's position as a repository of expertise on effective, evidence-based approaches to tackling child poverty and social exclusion. This seminar takes place in the context of Eurochild's Thematic Working Group on Children Without Parental Care.
